As long as your song isn't more than 3 minutes it won't get deleted.

No matter how fast your machine, it's a fact that this sequencer has its quirks and still a couple of bugs. Some of them can be worked around, some can not. Skipping is a common problem here, especially when using more than 3 tracks and alot of sound data. A pity, I know, but unfortunately the development and even maintainment stopped a while ago and it seems this won't change in the future.
